Lending a helping hand when you can.

With the current state of the economy, environment and health care, it's not hard to see that these are not mutually exclusive issues. We all need to wake up and start thinking about the consequences of our actions, as well as our inaction. We can’t rely on the government to get out of the mess we are in. While I certainly don't pretend to have all of the answers, I do believe that it's going to take a culture change to truly turn things around. One step in the right direction is to support U.S. manufacturers that make eco-friendly products.

You wouldn't know it by looking at the "made in" label on most products at your average retail store, but U.S. workers do still make many products - and yes, even those that are environmentally friendly. Currently, A Better Way of Living offers environmentally friendly products made in 42 states. My goal is to get that number up to 50!
